The Counseling Center is dedicated to the psychological growth and well-being of Wheaton students and provides a safe, supportive environment to explore problems or conflicts that are of concern. In addition, we offer a variety of outreach programs ranging from lunchtime discussion groups to workshops focusing on specific themes.
The Center is staffed by licensed mental health professionals and graduate interns in advanced training. Any concern brought to the Center is treated with respect, caring, and confidentiality.
Most services are free of charge, though students who need a medication evaluation or a consultation with a substance abuse specialist must pay for these services either through their health insurance or out-of-pocket.
The staff is pleased to talk to parents about encouraging their student to come to the Counseling Center.
