What did you do in the fall before arriving at Wheaton?
I took classes at a local college and worked.
How was the transition as a January student?
The transition as a January student was extremely easy. The amount of January students was the same as my graduating class in high school, so size-wise it was a very smooth transition. Also, I found the students already attending Wheaton to be so welcoming and friendly that, socially, I had no issues becoming a part of the close campus community.
Will you graduate with your class?
I will graduate with my class. I took four classes the semester before I arrived at Wheaton and I am taking five classes one semester here.
Favorite Wheaton experience
My favorite Wheaton experience was my First Year Seminar. The class itself was interesting, discussion based, and a great preparation for the upper level classes I have taken. Professor Mayer was the professor and also my advisor and he was amazing. I knew I wanted to pursue a biology major and he did everything he could to help me. He helped me set up meetings with professors from the department to make sure I was going to register for the correct classes. We formed a great relationship. We still email and chat when we see each other on campus. It was definitely a great way to transition into college.
