Alternative Financing Options at Wheaton
Wheaton makes available a variety of financing options in addition to the many traditional financial aid programs. These alternative financing options are available to all Wheaton families, whether or not they are receiving financial aid, unless otherwise noted.
Wheaton's comprehensive fee (including tuition, student activity fee, room and board) for 2007-2008 is $45,330. These alternative financing programs give families the opportunity to spread out payment of Wheaton's comprehensive fee anywhere from ten months to twenty five years. The financing terms offered are in many cases better and/or more flexible than options that may be available privately to individual families. Families with home equity should explore home equity borrowing options as the interest paid is currently tax deductible. We urge any family examining how to pay for Wheaton to give these programs serious consideration. Also, please bear in mind that these programs are not mutually exclusive; many families have found that a combination of plans works especially well for them.
