Frequently Asked Questions

When should I write up a work order?

A work order should be written up if you would like a file cabinet moved, have some boxes that need to be delivered to a storage area or have a shelf that needs to be hung. Anything that is NOT considered an emergency should be written up as a work order. If you have any questions, please call Kathy Cotter at x3876.

When should I call in a work order?

Work orders should be written up and sent to the Physical Plant department. When there is an emergency (i.e. blown fuse, clogged toilet, office too cold) then you should call in the work order to Kathy Cotter at x3876.

I sent in a work order awhile ago and the work order has not been done. How do I follow up?

While this does not happen often, sometimes the trades departments are waiting for supplies or a subcontractor. To follow up, call Mary Pavao at x3880.
