DeTailS ...CHICKEN LEGS is our farcico-dramatic version of Ivan Krylov's "Ptichii dvor," directed by language assistant Dina Shumatova and performed by the students of Elementary Russian, Russian 111, for the Wheaton College Academic Festival, April 2002.
Along with the skit, the students
read some poetry by Esenin -- Mary, Kate and Alla Katsnelson '04
read more fables by Krylov -- Alla
and performed their version of "Krasnaia Shapochka," or "Little Red Riding Hood" -- Kate, Mary and Kirill, with Chuck as the hunter and Jordan as Red's mom.
