Wheaton College Observatory Image Gallery
| | New Images | | Archived Images | |
These images were taken by students, faculty, and alumnae at the Wheaton Observatory. The equipment used was the Centurion (18" Newtonian) or the 12" LX-200 by Meade, ST-8E CCD camera by SBIG, CF-8 filter wheel by SBIG, and AO-7 by SBIG. The name and type of object, as well as the photographer, is indicated with the picture. Also, there is as much information about the type and timing of the picture as is known. Ideally, we will provide timing information for each filter color and magnitude/location of appropriate guide star to go along with each picture. The hope is that, with this information, we will be able to assist future attempts by providing students with enough information to gauge the needs of their target object.
