At the start of the search, the members of the Presidential Search Committee have asked three important questions:

What would attract a candidate to Wheaton?

What are the challenges facing Wheaton?

What qualities are we looking for in our next president?

The Wheaton community responded with insight and enthusiasm. In campus forums, through a webinar and an online survey, and an inbox full of email messages, alumnae/i, students, faculty, staff, parents and trustees highlighted our college’s many strengths and the opportunities that lie ahead.

All of this good advice is reflected in the presidential prospectus, which both allowed a candidate to understand Wheaton’s innovative and creative culture and provided the committee with a guide for the search process.
