Lunchtime talk about Internet Safety

You look out for them in the real world...but do you know what your children are doing online? Join Denise Briody, Norton Public Library's Technology Coordinator and Wheaton alum, for an informal lunchtime conversation about Internet Safety and children. We'll discuss instant messaging, social networking sites, personal safety online and most importantly, what you can do as a parent to ensure your children have a safe online experience.
We'll also review the other ways children connect virtually when they are not at home, such as public internet stations in libraries and cafes and even cell phones.
This presentation will include some short video clips to help parents know what to watch for.
