The Student Affairs Division at Wheaton College collaborates with students to provide a learning environment which supports academic achievement and student development. In partnership with faculty and academic administrators we provide programs which promote intellectual growth and experiential learning. Through co-curricular involvement students have opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in institutional governance, collective decision-making and social action. We work to engage students in the critical task of examining our institutional values of community-building, diversity, integrity, community service and gender consciousness. Student Affairs administrators and staff administer policies, programs and facilities in a way that promotes student involvement and learning. We offer residential learning experiences, counseling, intercollegiate/recreational athletics and health services which complement the educational mission of the college, make effective use of college resources and foster a spirit of community at Wheaton.
