Campus Parking
Wheaton has made several changes to its parking plan for the fall to accommodate the needs of students, faculty and staff during the construction of the Center for Scientific Inquiry and Innovation.
The goal of Wheaton's temporary parking plan is to avoid any significant reduction in available parking spaces for students, faculty and staff, and to ensure equitable distribution of spaces.
Changes to the parking plan include the establishment of two new parking lots at either end of the campus as well as several temporary changes. The details on parking for the beginning of the Fall 2008 semester are listed below for both students and faculty and staff (and can be downloaded as campus parking map). Please note: Assignments for all other parking lots will remain unchanged.
Once the new parking facility adjacent to Keefe and Mirrione fields is complete, the college will phase out use of the temporary spaces along Fillmore Drive, open the new lot for student use and reassign the Sidell Stadium parking for faculty and staff.
In addition, the faculty and staff parking area adjacent to the Science Center will be closed by the end of the fall semester to accommodate the next phase of construction.
The college will announce anticipated further changes in the parking plan in greater detail when the new parking facility is complete.
Staff and faculty will use
