Laptop Loaner Program

Academic Computing has several laptops that faculty members canborrow. The program can fill short-term needs that are not metby the equipment in the faculty member's office or regular classroom.Typical loan periods are less than two weeks during the schoolyear, and longer in summer. Typical uses include:

• Using a computer in a classroom that does not have a permanently installed machine (we can also arrange for projection to a large screen)
• Presenting at a conference
• Doing work while away from the office
• Determining whether a laptop would be suitable as a permanent office computer.
