Composition of Committee:

The Commitee on Library, Technology, and Learning shall be composed of five members of the teaching faculty, two student members, the Associate Provost, the College Librarian, the Director of Academic Computing, and, as non-voting members, the Assistant Director of Academic Computing, and the Director of Information and Technology Services, and the Associate Librarian. The chair shall be selected by the Committee from among the five teaching faculty members. The faculty members shall be appointed by the Committee on Committees and Agenda to represent each of the following divisions: mathematics and computer science; the foreign languages and literature; the humanities; the social sciences; and the physical and biological sciences.

Duties:

The duties of the Committee on Library, Technology, and Learning shall be:

To invite, develop, and support the implementation of initiatives that advance curricular and pedagogical uses of library resources and technology and enhance the quality of teaching and learing at the College.

In collaboration with the College Librarian and the Director of Academic Computing, to review, develop, and support academic services and policies that advance appropriate uses of library resources and technology in the academic programs of the College.

To facilitate the ongoing collaboration between the Library/Academic Computing Center and Information Technology and Services.
