FACULTY TECHNOLOGY PROJECTS

Wheaton has developed an innovative program to fund faculty who make use of technology in their courses. Workshops are held in January and May to encourage faculty to examine ways that technology can be used effectively to improve student learning in a liberal arts environment.

The Library Technology and Learning Committee (LTLC) invites proposals from faculty and determines the level of funding. Wheaton has received generous funding from the Booth Ferris Foundation, Charles E. Culpeper Foundation, Davis Educational Foundation, and Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to support these projects.

The reports on this site are from faculty members whose projects have been funded since Fall 1997. It is important to note that there are many other technology initiatives on campus undertaken by faculty that are not represented here.
