Career Learning Toolkit

"It is good to have an end to journey but it is the journey that matters in the end."
--URSULA K. LEGUIN, AMERICAN AUTHOR

Your toolkit provides you with the resources to effectively uncover out of classroom learning opportunities(internships, community service, part time/summer jobs) and plan a full time job search. The links below provide you with opportunities to develop skills, gain perspectives, and acquire knowledge about the process of discovering, exploring, researching, and eventually testing your career and/or academic interests. You might find yourself initially using all of the links in the toolkit to support you in the overall process of discovering, exploring, researching, and testing your interests. As time goes on, you might find yourself only visiting specific links that are of most interest and value to you. You may also want to review the suggested goals by class year to help focus your learning.

Use these links on your own and if working with an advisor or peer mentor at the Filene Center you may be asked to enter specific links to help you acquire a specific skill or knowledge.
