Main Interests
My primary academic interest lies in observing and comparing Russia and China both as domestic actors set on a course of economic transformation with its attendant social and political consequences; and as participants in foreign policy relationships within the international sphere.
In a more general sense, I am interested in the politics of post-Communist states, international relations, and comparative politics.
Research Interests
My current research project is a Comparison of Russian and Chinese Responses to Transformation and Integration into the Global Economy.
