Research Interests
I am working in a book project [Mare Nostrum: Narrativa de naufragios e infortunios marítimos en las Indias Occidentales] on narratives of navigation and shipwreck in the Caribbean during the colonial times.
I am revising a final version of an annotated modern edition of a rare Spanish seventeenth century book, entitled Peregrinación y naufragio de Pedro Gobeo de Vitoria, natural de Sevilla, escrito por él mismo.[Seville 1610].
As my long-term project I continue my work of collaborative edition of the Historia Naturæ, Maxime Peregrinæ (Antwerp 1635) by the Jesuit Juan Eusebio Nieremberg.
