Main Interests
Design as communication, using the visual elements within the medium of theatre to support and expand the communal art of stroytelling; helping students find their individual voices as storytellers.
Research Interests
Appalachain theatre and storytelling; costume and fashion as historical benchmark; the arts in rural communities
Teaching Interests
Currently teaching Introduction to Scene Design and Introduction to Costume Design. Also dedicated to providing students with opportunites to develop the technical skills of a designer which complement the creative process of the discipline.
