20073. Visual Literacy
This arts and humanities, social science connection allows a shared focus in both courses on multiple literacies, ways of seeing and ways of knowing. Specifically, this connection offers students opportunities to explore visual literacy and the power of composition and arrangement of form in creating meaning. Both courses are at the foundations level, and both teach students skills and strategies for negotiating meaning in many contexts.
