One of the most difficult and time consuming jobs faced by the Buildings and Grounds workers during this week is the construction of the stage where graduation will take place. They are already on their second week of construction and everything is coming along nicely.

In addition to the stage, workers all over campus are busy laying mulch, planting flowers, and just making sure that everything will look perfect.

The graduating seniors gathered in the Emerson dining hall this morning for the Champagne or White Glove Brunch. This is a Wheaton tradition that is marked by its traditionalness.

Following brunch, the class of '96 held the annual Hoop Race. Each senior tries to be the first one to roll a wooden hoop across old campus using only a stick. According to legend, the winner of the race will be the first person in the class to be married.
