Dropping a course
As long as you are still enrolled for a four credit load, students may drop an overload (fifth) course online up to the deadline to drop (Mid-semester, see Academic Calendar on the web). After that deadline, every student must petition the Committiee on Academic Standing for permission to drop. DO NOT assume that such a petition will be approved! If a student wishes to drop a course and carry LESS THAN a four course load, they must petition, even if this happens prior to the deadline. All drop petitions must carry YOUR ADVISOR's approval of this action.
