Advising Center Mission Statement
The Academic Advising Center at Wheaton College promotes and enhances the Wheaton academic experience for students and advisors through the:
Promotion of programs and opportunities that enrich the academic environment at Wheaton College;
Delivery of advising, mentoring and academic services across campus;
Promotion of learning experiences for students, faculty and staff that foster the development of their skills as academic guides and life-long learners, and;
Provision of leadership in the coordination and collaboration of academic programs and services offered across the campus.
We hold that academic advising is an ethical, principled relationship between students and mentors, which promotes the exploration and achievement of academic and life goals and the acquisition of intellectual strategies and problem-solving skills.
