Wheaton College     Norton, Massachusetts

Welcome to Wheaton's web-based safety-training courses. The courses listed below were developed through the collaborative efforts of the Environmental Health and Safety Departments of 11 Boston area schools, known as The Boston Consortium. Each course will take about 90 minutes to complete and does not have to be completed all at one time. Your successful completion of the course will be recorded into a database and filed with the Wheaton Business Services Office. Should you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the Director of Business Services, John Sullivan at x3484 or by email at jsulliva@wheatonma.edu.

Safety is everyone's responsibility. We hope that you will find these courses useful in training you to assess the hazards you may encounter in your work place. Questions on health and safety should be directed to your professor or supervisor, they are the individuals most familiar with your standard operating procedures and work practices. It is a college priority to promote a healthful work place, meet regulatory agency compliance requirements and safeguard college resources. We look forward to bringing you new and innovative means to achieve safety awareness and thank you for your participation in safety training.
