Administrative Assistant for Service, Spirituality and Social Responsibility

Reports to: Associate Dean for Service, Spirituality and Social Responsibility
Description: The Administrative Assistant will provide clerical and administrative support to the Dean for Service, Spirituality and Social Responsibility. Specifically, the Administrative Assistant will provide general reception including answering telephones, scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars, draft correspondence and confidential materials, monitor budgets and process invoices for payments, maintain departmental and student files, coordinate event logistics and assist with special projects as necessary.
Requirements: High School diploma and minimum of three to five years' office experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Must be detail oriented and possess excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills. Strong administrative skills and excellent computer skills are necessary. Ability to handle confidential matters with confidentiality and discretion and the ability to work independently are essential. Strong customer service orientation and a desire to work with students a must. Individuals must possess these knowledges, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.
Salary: Office/Clerical Grade 4
