Wheaton College     Norton, Massachusetts

The Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) seeks funding from corporations, foundations, and government agencies for Wheaton College. CFR coordinates and manages all approaches for funding to private and government sources and assists in the administration of awarded grants. Staff members provide a variety of services to College faculty and administrators, including:

  • Assist in identifying potential sources of support for faculty research, academic initiatives, and institutional projects;
  • Develop and maintain contact with current and potential funding sources;
  • Work with faculty members and college administrators to prepare and submit grant proposals;
  • Serve as a guide for efficient institutional processing of all proposals;
  • Assure timely narrative and financial stewardship reports on all grants, working with faculty members, the Office of the Provost, and the Finance Office; and
  • Coordinate site visits for potential and current funders.

Corporate and Foundation Relations staff members collaborate closely with Frances Jeffries, Special Assistant to the Provost, who focuses her work on assisting faculty members as they seek outside funding to support their individual research.
