Suggestions for Project Outline

1. Full title of Project

2. Introduction: should contain your hypothesis or a description of the problem you will be studying. May contain a statement indicating the reason you are interested in this particular topic. This section should be one or two paragraphs.

3. Methods: Describe how you will be conducting your study or implementing your project. Be specific. If a questionnaire is being used, enclose a sample. List the specific questions you will be asking and the types of responses which are expected. Are the answers to be "yes" and ""no" or will you include a scale. How many individuals will be surveyed? When and where will you distribute the questions and what provisions have you made for their return and the anonymity of those who participate in your study? How will you analyze the results?

4. References: Your outline should list 2-3 key references which may be articles or books; no more than one web site. These references are starting materials and 3 or 4 more will be required in the final analysis.

Format: Your outline should be 2-3 typed souble spaced pages; font size max =12, one inch margins.
