Data Assignment

Each student will search the Web to locate one type of data about women in the U.S. economy. Since more than one student will be assigned to each topic, you may opt to work together if you'd like.

Find the MOST RECENT DATA available on the topic you are assigned. Where possible, disaggregate your data by race/ethnicity and/or age group. Make a handout that presents this data in a manner that's easy to follow (e.g. a table or diagram). Also include the source of the data on the handout (both the web address and the organization that produced the data). On the day the syllabus indicates, bring copies of the handout to distribute in the class.

If you are not clear about what TYPE of data you are seeking, or if you have trouble locating this data, see me as soon as possible.
