The Wheaton Fund
The Wheaton Fund is an investment in excellence that supports all aspects of the college experience from the ground up, leveraging resources to make a difference in the lives of our students.
Every gift to the Wheaton Fund counts. And now you can direct your gift toward what you care about: whether that’s supporting scholarships that open the doors to a Wheaton education, cutting-edge technology that inspires innovation, life-changing experiential learning opportunities, athletics programs that build character, investments in sustaining our beautiful campus, and much more.
Through the Wheaton Fund, you give opportunity and support students like Elise Waelder ’16. Thanks to support of a stipend for travel, Waelder, a student athlete and studio art major, stepped out of her comfort zone and volunteered at a turtle conservation refuge in Costa Rica.
Your gift also supports students like Kevin Shi ’17 and Katie Henrikson ’16, who are researching zebrafish genetics to better understand the human body. And Nane Asare ’15, an anthropology major and Watson Fellowship winner who took part in a Wheaton-supported internship at the N.Y.C. Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response.
Why give? Just ask Jessie Woodyard ’07, a proud Wheaton Fund supporter, who said, “When I was at Wheaton, I received a scholarship that helped fund a summer internship. That internship proudly changed my life because it was my first introduction to my career in real estate. I want to pass along to students the same powerful gift that I was given—the opportunity to discover their passion and pursue it.”
